Cardiac Troponins Metabolism: From Biochemical Mechanisms to Clinical Practice (Literature Review)

The metabolic processes of endo- and exogenous compounds play an important role in diagnosing and treating patients since many metabolites are laboratory biomarkers and/or targets for therapeutic agents. Cardiac troponins are one of the most critical biomarkers to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, including acute myocardial infarction. The study of troponin metabolism is of great interest as it opens up new possibilities for optimizing laboratory diagnostics. This article discusses in detail the key stages of the cardiac troponins metabolism, in particular the mechanisms of release from a healthy myocardium, mechanisms of circulation in the bloodstream, possible mechanisms of troponin penetration into other biological fluids (oral fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, pericardial and amniotic fluids), mechanisms of elimination of cardiac troponins from the blood, and daily changes in the levels of troponins in the blood. Considering these aspects of cardiac troponin metabolism, attention is focused on the potential value for clinical practice.

Biomass thermochemical conversion: A review on tar elimination from biomass catalytic gasification

Biomass is promising renewable energy because of the possibility of value-added fuels production from biomass thermochemical conversion. Among the thermochemical conversion technology, gasification could produce the H₂-rich syngas then into value-added chemicals via F-T (Fischer-Tropsch) synthesis. However, a variety of difficulties, such as tar formation, reactors impediment, complex tar cracked mechanism, etc. make it difficult to develop for further application. This paper sheds light on the developments of biomass thermochemical conversion, tar classifications, tar formation, and elimination methods. Secondly, we provide a comprehensive the state-of-the-art technologies for tar elimination, and we introduce some advanced high activity catalysts. Furthermore, many represent tar models were employed for explanation of the tar-cracked pathway, and real tar-cracked mechanism was proposed. Following this, some operational conditions and effective gasified models were concluded to give an instruction for biomass catalytic gasification.

医院室内的空气净化是预防感染的重要措施之一,但目前常用的空气净化方案皆存在一些弊端。静电净化装置能够有效地除尘除菌,本文对其进行了实验测试,测试结果表明：所使用的静电净化装置能够达到高中效过滤器的除尘效率;在一定风量下对空气中浮游菌的除去率能够达到90％以上;在通风量很小的情况下,静电净化装置运行行时送风口处的臭氧浓度有可能超标：并且本文设计了静电净化装置在医院洁净空调系统中的一个应用方案一存新方案中将静电净化装置加装在空调系统的通风管道中,并对过滤器进行重新配置。通过理论的分析说明所设计的厅案能够有更好的空气净化效果,并且能减少系统运行费用,是一种较为合理的空气处理方案。

以2—氯—3—苯硫砜基丙腈[Ⅰ]为原料经过消除和加成二步反应合成3,3—二甲氧基丙腈[Ⅱ]。[Ⅰ]在0℃～20℃脱HCl得3—苯硫砜基丙烯[Ⅲ],收率为88%。[Ⅲ]在甲醇溶液中以甲醇钠为催化剂反应得[Ⅱ],收率98%。消除反应的创新处在于用四氢呋喃代替乙醚,节省大量溶剂,收率有所提高,加成反应的创新处是增大甲醇钠的投料比,优化反应条件。     

A coding error elimination procedure for verifying finite element programs with forced and natural boundary conditions

The general procedure developed by Shih for eliminating computer coding errors has been both simplified for finite element applications and extended for use in the verification of the coding of forced and natural boundary conditions. To accomplish these two objectives simultaneously, use is made of volume weighted residuals for all elements within the solution regime and of area weighted boundary residuals for all elements having natural boundary conditions on one or more of their borders. This procedure can thus be used to verify finite element codes with a combination of both forced (Dirichlet) and natural (Neumann and Robbins) boundary conditions. Depending on the equations being solved and the boundary conditions they are being subjected to, this modification can make possible the implementation of Shih's general procedure into existing finite element codes without having to carry out any additional discretization steps. The employment of this modified procedure is illustrated using two‐dimensional (2‐D) stress analysis and transient heat conduction problems. Copyright © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
